She is survived by: her son Ronald Brown; her grandchildren, Alicia Brown and Kelijah Brown; her brother Charles E. Smith, Jr.; her aunt Patricia Whye-Samuel (Melvin); her nieces, Raynique Lewis-Colclough (Earl), Rayshetta Smith-Brown (Myron), Renee Smith-Townsend (Terrence) and Carolyn Boston Brown-Spears; her nephew Raymond Lewis Samuel; her goddaughter Shelly Brown; and her friends, Barbara Eldridge, Malinda Howard, Muriel McPherson and Shirley Tongue. She is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives, and friends.
