He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurence Masterson and Josephine Masterson; his siblings, Brian Masterson and Kathleen Spielman; and his great-niece Maddie Grobmeier.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah; his children, Katherine Dillner (Bryan), Andrew Masterson (Julia) and Erin Swiatocha (Gregory); his grandchildren, Evan and Kara Dillner; his children, Amelia, James, Elsie Masterson, Timothy, Joshua and Abigail Swiatocha; his brother Donald Masterson (Cathy Santos); his siblings-in-law, Kathy Masterson (Brian) and H. Cliff Martin (Linda); his nieces and nephews, Cyndi Grobmeier (Frank), Eileen Spielman (John Cox), Gregory Spielman, Lauren Masterson (John Kozar), Matthew and Michael Martin; and his great-niece Samantha Grobmeier.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to organizations that were meaningful to him such as the SPCA, Annapolis High Sports Boosters, Unitarian Universalist Church of Annapolis, and Annapolis Striders.
