It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deacon George Wesley Johnson Jr. (Annapolis, Maryland), who passed away on July 31, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Johnson, Sr. and Lillian Hutton Johnson; his brother Vernon Johnson; and his parents-in-law, John and Pauline Downs.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Downs Johnson; his sons, Keith, Trevin (Karen) and Justen; his brother Franklin Johnson (Belva); his siblings-in-law, John Downs (Michelle), Deborah Harris, Ella Johnson and Gwendolyn Johnson; and his aunt Diane Harrod. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
