She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Edwards Sr. and Glendora Colbert; her brothers, Darcy Edwards and Louis Edwards; her in-laws, Pearl and Lloyd Downs Sr.; her uncle Daniel Edwards; her brothers-in-law, William Tolson, Calvin Downs and Lloyd Downs; and her son Terrell Downs.
She is survived by: her husband Clifford Downs; her children, Raymond Colbert, Jamar Parker (Tyra) and Tyra Downs (Orlando); her siblings, Norman Edwards Jr. (Michelle), Frank Edwards (Lanae), Crystal Edwards Brownlee, Sherry Edwards and Cassandra Vauls Marshall (Carl); her sisters-in-law, Annie Tolson and Marjorie Hampton (Wade); her aunts, Gloria Williams (James) and Yvonne Galloway (Richard); and her close friends, Beverly Jackson, Deneen Hemphill and Darlene Downs. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
