She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Armando Montali and Dorina Montali (Uguccioni); her spouse Peirce Baker Smith (Brown); her children, Justin Peirce Smith (Miyun) of Henderson and Elisa Smith Eydt (William) of New Canaan; her grandchildren, Sarah Eydt Arestia, Christopher Peirce Eydt and Matthew William Eydt; her stepchildren, Barbara McKenzie Holch (Niels) of Annapolis and Mark McKenzie of Atlanta; her sibling's children, Bradford Hood (Tami) of Charlotte and Tracy Hood Golden; her sister Anita May Montali Hood; and her former husband Mac McKenzie. She was also cherished by three great grandchildren.
