It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwendolyn Denise Owens (Annapolis, Maryland), who passed away on March 3, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Rakestraw and Kay Rakestraw; her husband Ronald Lewis Owens; her daughters, Karawn D. Owens and Ronnise D. Owens; her stepson Ronald K. Riggsbee; her grandchildren, Jaidyn, Armaun, Jaylen, Karaan and Kaden; her sister Cathy Rakestraw of Morganton, NC; her brothers-in-law, Ernest Caldwell (Sandra) of Belview, CA and Warren Caldwell (Debra) of Newberry, SC; her aunt Dorothy Howard; and her uncle Isaiah Rakestraw. She was also cherished by sons and daughters, and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
