She was predeceased by: her parents, Alverta Randall Sembly and Charles A. Sembly; and her sister Celestine Sembly. She is survived by: her daughter Joy Sevasti Hillary Parker of Snellville, Georgia; her granddaughters, Alexa Harrison and Arielle Jones; her siblings, Charles W. Sembly (Bowie, MD), Carlos Sembly of Atlanta, GA, Doreatha Boston (Upper Marlboro, MD) and Elfrieda Darko (Severn, MD); her nieces, Angel Hill (Jay), Caryn Kidwell (Rick) and Dorliese Boston; her goddaughters, Carolyn Adams, Kesha Adams, Candace Davis (Corey), Amber Sembly and Akia Sembly; her nephew Herbert G. Tongue; and her aunt Beatrice Henson of Annapolis, MD. She is also survived by cousins, extended family, and friends.
