She was predeceased by: her parents, John Boston and Josephine Boston; her son Carlton Joyce; and her siblings, Thelma Jean Alexander, Roberta Harrison, Dorothy Jones, Timothy, John Wesley and Theodore Boston.

She is survived by: her daughters, Jacqueline Ford, Gloria Skipper and Pamela Joyce; and her extended family, Peggie Cooke, Margaret Gonzalez, Beverly Cornish and James E. Joyce Jr.. She is also survived by grandkids, great grandkids, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
