He was predeceased by: his parents, George "Jack" Spriggs and Mary Pauline Hall; and his sisters, Mary Neal and Dorothy Johnson. He is survived by: his friend Negro League; his close friend Rena Unice Galloway; his children, Ralph Nethanal Spriggs, Carlton Wilson, Michael Brown (Deborra) and Anita "Ann" Broadway; and his aunt Delores Hall. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
