He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard McGuinness and Olive Shafer McGuinness. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his stepchildren, Kathleen Ward (Dennis), Patrick O'Neill (Anne Thai) and Maureen Lynch (Ryan); his stepgrandchildren, Erin and Liam O'Neill; his siblings, Patrick, Robert McGuinness and Peggy-Anne McGuinness; and his godson Joseph Imbriaco.

Memorial Contributions can be made in Jim's name to the Salvation Army, Jim's favorite charity.
