We are sad to announce that, on November 23, 2022, at the age of 91, Joan G. Gateau of Annapolis, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Harrington and Stella Schreiner; her husband William E. Gateau; her son William F. Gateau; and her siblings, June Keyworth, Jack, Jerry, Bobby, James, Thomas and Donny Harrington.
She is survived by: her children, Jean Hayden (Paul) of Huntingtown, MD and David E. Gateau (Patty); her daughter-in-law Sandy Gateau of Annapolis, MD; her sister Jane Eaton; and her grandchildren, Paul, James, Stephen, Tommy, Danny, William, Matthew Hayden, Mary Johnson, Cathleen Pirner, Elizabeth Sens, Joanne Brown, Theresa Robinson, Stella Stover, Ellen Wright, David, John, Joseph, Thomas Gateau, Pamela Colistra, Becky Dauses, Sheryl Nickel, Jackie Medaris and Anna Dove. She is also survived by 70 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
