He is survived by: his wife Tammy Carpenter; his children, Joseph Carpenter (Angie), Sonia Carpenter, Francis Carpenter and Russell Carpenter; his siblings, Linda Carpenter, Wayne Carpenter (Wanda) and Jimmy Carpenter (Cathie); and his siblings-in-law, Robin Smith, Darlene Carter (Charles), Bobbie Smith and Marvin Atwell. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
