It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Quail Long of Annapolis, Maryland, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Long and Gladys Long; and his wife Mary V. Long. He is survived by : his daughters, Victoria Renehan (Dennis) of Eldorado, MD and Carol Harriday (Darryl) of Ellicott City, MD; his grandchildren, Nicholas Alexander Harriday, Dru Harriday and Georgia Louise Fried; and his sister-in-law Barbara A. Wyatt. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and numerous close friends.

Viewing was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kalas Funeral Home and Crematory (2973 Solomons Island Rd, Edgewater, MD 21037).
