It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Gross in Annapolis, Maryland, born in Lothian, Maryland, who passed away on November 5, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. John Wesley Parker and Carrie Parker; and her husband James. She is survived by: her children, Betty Savoy (late Briscoe), Barbara Ann Dorsey (John), James P. Gross, III (Bonita), Gail Gross Armstrong (Errol) and Keisha "KeeKee" Parker; her grandchildren, Josette "Penny" Hill (Clyde) of Briscoe, Savoy Jr., Chad Dorsey, Corey Dorsey, James "Jay" P. Gross IV, Terence "Terry" Gross (Jannah), Danita Armstrong, Kiriel Kerley, Kyren Kerley and Kayden Phillips; and her great grandchildren, Kierra Fields, Keith Fields, A'Corye Dorsey, Talia Gross, Lielle Gross, Donae Williams, Ka'Nyla Kerley, Kuaran Kerley and Kha'Mazi Kerley. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
