It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Lyon Bowers Thoms of Annapolis, Maryland, born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on September 2, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Raymond Lyon and Adele Hammond Bowers; her husbands, Bert Thoms and Peter Lauck; her granddaughter Joanna Adele Beans; her daughter Adele Beans; and her grandchildren, Mark, Joseph, Jeffrey (Melissa), Kevin (Erica), Todd, Nathan, David, Erika (Ricky), Tara (Ryan), Jennifer and Amanda (Zack). She was also cherished by thirty-two great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
