He is survived by: his wife Fran; his siblings-in-law, Amy (Mark), Shari, Ronnie and David (Sandi); his nephew Ben (Jessye); his niece Rachel; his sister Marilyn Shain of Palm Harbor, Florida.; his nephew Jason Shain (Dianne) of Atlanta; his nieces, Georgia and Mandy Levy (Jason); and his children, Anslee, Reed Shain, Ilana and Jordan Levy.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation could be made to the Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
