Matthews Sr., Jessica Turner (Dontai) and Erica Jones (Craig); his goddaughter Nahema Witt (Justin); his grandchildren, Tara, Dasha, Ti'ahni, Lauren, Leighn, Capri, Jazmyne, Rico Jr., Janez, Endia, Damarien, Paolo, Dontai Jr., Monet and Craig Jr.; his great grandchildren, Chase and Auria; his godsons, Jalen Carter and Cashmir Witt; his siblings, Brenda Owens (Theodore), Rosetta Carter (James) and Pernell Matthews (Barbara); his father-in-law William Brown (Ruth); his siblings-in-law, Milton Tongue (Mary), Sarah Moulden (Lawrence), Leslie Brown, Clayton Brown and Lisa Heinecke (Terry); his nephews, Weaver, Ted, Jay and Lovette "Biney"; and his friend Marshall Hall. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
