She is survived by: her father-in-law Chris Nelson; her family Swedish; her children, Spring Breaks, George Edmund "Sandy" Engelke Jr. of Delray Beach, FL and Erik Carter Engelke (Lisa) of Annapolis; her sister Mona Almen Lankford (Floyd) of Baltimore; her former husband Dr. George E. Engelke of Pasadena, MD.; her grandchildren, Cole, Jack and Elin; and her nieces and nephews, Tracey and Jennifer.
