We are sad to announce that on March 4, 2024, at the age of 92, Mary Theresa Kosmides of Annapolis, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Theresa Lynch and Charles Lynch; her children, Andrew Kosmides and Helena Kosmides Stevens; her son-in-law Robert Stevens; and her brothers, William Lynch and Charles Lynch.

She is survived by : her husband George Angelo Kosmides; her children, James Kosmides, Yvette Davis (Tif) and George Kosmides, Jr. (Patty); her sister Patricia Gravel; and her grandchildren, George Kosmides, III (Gena), Michael Kosmides (Christine), Les Tirschman, Joshua Kosmides (Brooke), Mignon Petrini, Elizabeth Amoss (Brian), Jessica Schulz, Kristin Kosmides (Greg Gunther), Divinity Morgan (Dusty), Meghan Kosmides, Julia Davis and Natalie Davis. She is also survived by eight Great Grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations in Mary's name to Hospice of the Chesapeake.

“I loved chatting with Miss Mary. She had a wonderful ability to really listen and her laugh was warm and deep. As a child, I felt she was an impartial judge and would give you the benefit of the doubt. Miss Mary was the last of the West Annapolis moms that we grew up with. She will always hold a special place in my heart. My deepest sympathy to her family.”
