He is survived by: his children, Diamond Shorter and Stacey Shorter (Darryl Allen); his significant other Keyonnia Diggs; his grandchildren, Malachi Shorter, Ta'Shaun Shorter, Zion Shorter, Truye Shorter and Asaad Allen; his goddaughters, Asia Brown and Natalia Ennis; and his siblings, William Ennis (Melanie Shirley), Shyvonne Ennis, Ernest Ennis, Jr. (Maria Evans), Priscilla Oliver, William Oliver, William C. Oliver, Wendell Oliver, Delroy Oliver and Jean Oliver. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
