He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Howard Shupe and Doris Louise Shupe (Dooley); and his sister Daral Willeford. He is survived by: his children, Karen Opet and Thomas Howard Shupe II; his daughter-in-law Jil Simon; his grandchildren, Stephen Opet, William Opet and Eleanor Simon-Shupe; and his siblings, Randy Shupe and Carol Grigonis.
