He was predeceased by : his parents, Margaret Moreland Cooper Clark and Norval F. Cooper, Sr.. He is survived by : his children, Theresa Kaufman (John), Karen Thompson (Dale), Norval F. Cooper III, Donna Askew (George) and Kevin Cooper; his grandchildren, Liza (Jamal), Jaci Hollidayoke, Joshua, Katie, Matthew Thompson, Sean, Trevor Cooper (Jenny), Megan (Steven), Tyler (Lauren) and Erik Askew (Lauren); and his sister Virginia Clark Blondeau. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
