It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patrick Joseph Monaghan of Annapolis, Maryland, who passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Tim Monaghan; and his father-in-law Jim Hopkins. He is survived by: his parents, Ann Fallon (John Wells) and Richard Monaghan; his wife Betsy Monaghan; his daughters, Fallon Monaghan and Lauren Gonzalez (David Van Benschoten); his grandchildren, Annabelle, Emmie and Jude; his siblings, Bill Monaghan, Catherine Flannery (Chris), Daniel Wells (Laura) and Christine Sweigart (Daniel); his mother-in-law Libby Hopkins; and his pet Molly. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hardesty Funeral Home (12 Ridgely Ave, Annapolis, MD 21401).
