With sadness, we share the passing of Rebecca Castaldi Jones of Annapolis, Maryland. Rebecca, born on September 10, 1947 in Evergreen Park, Illinois, passed away on August 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Rebecca for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Castaldi and Lawrence Castaldi. She is survived by: her children, Amanda Jones of Columbia, MD and David Jones of Marysville, OH; and her siblings, David Castaldi of Boston, MA, Diana Scheeler of West Chester and Loretta Castaldi of Washington, DC. She is also survived by five grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and 12 nieces and nephews and their children.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. John Neumann Catholic Church (620 N Bestgate Rd, Annapolis, MD 21401). The inurnment will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Bestgate Memorial Park (814 Bestgate Rd, Annapolis, MD 21401).
Instead of flowers, the family asks that you donate a book in Rebecca's name to a school, library, or favorite child.
