He was predeceased by : his parents, Michael Darcy and Anne; his wife Geraldine; and his brothers, John Darcy (Jack) and Thomas Darcy.

He is survived by : his children, Erin and Conal; and his brother Michael Darcy of Jenkintown, PA..

A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Saint Mary's Catholic Church (109 Duke of Gloucester St, Annapolis, MD 21401).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) or the SPCA of Anne Arundel County, two organizations Richard greatly supported.
