He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert A. Basil, Sr. and Marie Bembe Basil; his siblings, Barbara Basil Smith and Frank N. Basil, Sr.; and his wife Norma Kepley Basil.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Anna Basil; his nephews, Frank N. Basil, Jr. and Robert T. Basil; and his niece Allison Owens.
