It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Leonard Thompson (Annapolis, Maryland), born in Churchton, Maryland, who passed away on March 18, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Thompson and Susie Thompson; his daughter Carla Thompson; and his brothers, Roscoe Brown Sr. and Leon Brown.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Thompson; his children, TyJuan Thompson, LaTanya Jackson, Roxanne Thompson, Robin Thompson and Renee Thompson; his sisters, Elsie Smith and Carolyn Dennis; his adoptive sons, Douglas Darby and Giles Alexander; his cousin William 'Fishman Nick; and his siblings-in-law, Doris Brown, Elaine Brown, Bessie Queen, Georgette Queen, Charlotte Queen, Dorothy Geathers, Annie Murdock, Mary Elliott, Vanessa Beane, Harry Queen, Clarence Queen, Lamar Geathers, Palestine Elliott and Carl Beane. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and very dear friends.
