He was predeceased by: his parents, Prudencio Mendez and Marina Mendez; and his brother Joseph Mendez. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Katherine Mendez-Mahone (Jerry), Robert Mendez (Lisa) and Jane Mendez (Joseph Wisniewski); and his grandsons, Tyler Mahone, Connor Mahone and Robert John Mendez (Rhiannon).
In lieu of flowers, Bob's family requests that contributions in his memory be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Hospice of the Chesapeake or to another charitable organization dear to your heart.
