He is survived by: his children, Torie Neal and Dana Neal; his siblings, James Neal, Ruth Collins, Helen Crowner, Mary Parker (Julius), Rosie Dorsey, Charlotte Green and Jessie Bowie; his close friend Sharon Wedge; and his friends, Lawrence Tasker, James Proctor, Carl Stewart, Michael Medley, Dewayne Moulden, Alfred Parker (Jelly), Janice Sea, Roxanne Martin, Ronnie Turner and Cynthia Wren.
