It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Tucker of Annapolis, Maryland, who passed away on August 2, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Lester Tucker, Sr. and Josephine Benning Tucker; and her sister Alice Faye Walter. She is survived by: her significant other Steven Watkins; her daughter Emily Watkins Baker; her grandchildren, Felix and Sloane Baker; and her siblings, Jacqueline M. Fowler (Maurice "Buck"), Joseph L. Tucker, Jr., Deborah L. Ridenour and Linda L. Bausum (Stephen). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hardesty Funeral Home - Galesville (905 Galesville Rd, Galesville, MD 20765). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church (122 Bayard Rd, Lothian, MD 20711).
Donations to the American Cancer Society can be made in her name.
