He is survived by: his wife Mary Margret Eckel; his children, Daniel (Kimberly Eckel), Edward (Patricia Eckel), Julie (Bob McDonaldson) and Anthony (Clarissa Eckel); and his sister Kathy Kraska. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
