He was predeceased by: his grandfather Annapolis, MD; his parents, Joe McGovern and Katherine McGovern; his wife Pat; and his sisters, Mary McGovern, Katherine Sheehan and Jennifer Szerletich.
He is survived by: his pet Walker; his children, Barry McGovern (Ruth) and Leslie McGovern; his grandchildren, Tommy, Megan and Rachael; and his siblings, Terry Truemper, Barb Gormly, Bridget Paluska and John McGovern.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 31st 2026 at 3:00 PM at 7101 Bay Front Dr, Annapolis, MD 21403.
