He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn Johnson; his children, Tonier Cain, Bridgette Wallace (Adrian), Teli Johnson, Angel Montague Crowdy (Irvin), Verket Randall (Gavin), Vernon L. Johnson, Jr. (Angela), Terance Johnson (Tonia) and Lawrence Montague (Eshe); his siblings, Ella Mae Johnson, George Johnson (Marlene) and Franklin Johnson (Belva); his goddaughter Lakeshia Foster; his friends, Earl Johnson, James Johnson, Michael Simms and Glen Foster; and his pet Jack. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, nephews, three sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
