She is survived by: her daughter Joyce Crook; her grandson Carlos Adams; her great grandchild Mackenzie Adams; her sister Sally V. Pindell; her niece Alice James; her nephews, Damaree Dorsey and Navorre Smith; her goddaughters, Renee Townsend and Nashell Smith; her friends, Naomi Smith, Florine Alexander, Eleanor Simms and Dale Dorsey Winder; and her adoptive children, Denise Vauls and Harold Sims, Sr.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
