She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Walter Chojnowski; her son Edward W. Chojnowski, Jr.; and her brother Anthony Waytekunas. She is survived by: her son Robert A. Chojnowski of Elkton, MD; her daughters-in-law, Jennifer Chojnowski and Lori Chojnowski; her grandchildren, Ryan A. Chojnowski (Alexis), Kelsie R. Chojnowski, Julia E. Chojnowski and Anna K. Chojnowski; her great grandchildren, William R. Yeates, IV and Tatum E. Yeates; and her sister Yvonne Waytekunas of Towson, MD. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory (2973 Solomons Island Rd, Edgewater, MD 21037). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
