He is survived by: his wife Van; his children, Stephanie Williams (Derick Williams), Christina Robin (Kevin Robin), Kimberly Mirzayeva (Mirali Mirzayev), Kristen VanBuren, Evangeline "Angel" VanBuren (Jesse Bateman) and Waddy VanBuren, II (Emily Clark); his siblings, Wayne VanBuren, Wardell VanBuren, Sr. (Diane VanBuren) and Roxanna VanBuren-Roberts (William Roberts); and his grandchildren, Chanteau, Camille, Ashley, Brittany, Aaron Simons and Wyatt VanBuren. He is also survived by 6 great-grandsons; 3 great-granddaughters; 5 nieces; 6 nephews; and a host of cousins and friends.
