It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Clair Morehead of Annapolis, Maryland, who passed away on June 27, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Willie and Frank Iloe Morehead; his wife Sally; and his sister Jean Kilburn. He is survived by: his children, John W. Morehead of Hanover, PA, Amy E. Henry of Dunkirk, MD and Andrew J. Morehead of Annapolis, MD; his grandchildren, Ann E. Henry and Robert S. Henry; his grandson-in-law Christian Watson; his brothers, George Morehead of Michigan and Clyde; and his sister-in-law Frankie Morehead of Annapolis, MD. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
