He was predeceased by: his parents, William Emmett Brooks Jr. and Edward Archibald Brooks; and his sister Priscilla. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his son Will; his brother-in-law Vince Long (Priscilla); and his siblings, Rebecca Watson (Gregory) and Jordan Brooks (Lisa). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
