She was predeceased by: her parents, John Major and Lillian Major; her spouse Windsor Kessler; and her daughter Rhonda Stewart. She is survived by: her child Windsor Kessler, Jr.; her grandchildren, Windsor Kessler, III and Chad Stewart; her great grandchildren, Caleb Stewart and Vivian Stewart; and her siblings, Ruth Major, John Major, II, Herman Major, James Major, Shirley Major and Patricia Major.
