As Shirley Lila departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Shirley Lila. Though Shirley Lila may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Adams and Paul Adams; and her sister Sally Ann Harris. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Carman; her sons, Bob Carman (Janice) and Gary Carman; and her brother Maurice Adams.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Ambrose Funeral Home (1328 Sulphur Spring Rd, Halethorpe, MD 21227). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Nativity Lutheran Church (1200 Linden Ave, Arbutus, MD 21227). A burial will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens (2150 Mt View Rd, Marriottsville, MD 21104).
