He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Alvin Lee and Doris Lee; his wife Teresa A. Lee; his daughter Barbara Button; and his son-in-law Bruce Button. He was also cherished by his 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

He valued many charities and made numerous donations.
