It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan A. Weingartner of Arnold, Maryland, who passed away on October 2, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Anderson and Belle Anderson; her former husband Bill Weingartner; her son Keith Montor; her brother John Anderson; and her sister-in-law Elsie Anderson.
She is survived by: her husband Professor Karel Montor; her children, Jodi (John Altendorf) of Corvallis, OR, Stephanie Montor (Keith), Lee (Lee Derr) of San Antonio, TX, Tammy (Gary Ramos) and Michael (Jenny Weingartner) of Lakewood, CA; her grandchildren, Grammie, Gramgram, Eric, Kyle, Kira, David, Ryan, Ian, Victor, Elise, Jack, Kali and Xander; and her great grandchildren, Khanner, Henry, Grayson, Oliver, Michaela and Jacob.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Asbury United Methodist Church (78 Church Rd, Arnold, MD 21012).
