She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bill" Hawkins; and her parents, Russell Floyd Shelley and Mary Dean Shelley. She is survived by: her children, Deborah DeMarco (Bill) and Bill Hawkins (Dianne); her grandchildren, Deaven Niblock, Carly Watkins (David) and Dalton Hawkins (Alia); and her great grandchild William Lane Niblock.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Roy W. Barber Funeral Home (21525 Laytonsville Rd, Gaithersburg, MD 20882). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
