It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sharen Zacharia of Ashton, Maryland, who passed away on June 19, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Sharen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick Zacharia; and her brother Steven. She is survived by: her daughter Stephanie Hatmaker; her son-in-law Brian Hatmaker; her grandchildren, Gabrielle and Aidan Hatmaker; and her siblings, Robert Price, Gregory Price, Sandy Johnson and Richard Price. She is also survived by in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Saints Peter and Paul Antiochian Orthodox Church (10620 River Rd, Potomac, MD 20854). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the All Souls Cemetery (11401 Brink Rd, Germantown, MD 20876).
