She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Johnson and Anna Johnson (Price); her husband Sidney R. Pyle, Sr.; her son David Pyle; her siblings, Howard Johnson, Jr., Dolores Stimax and Melvin Johnson; and her stepchildren, Janice Davidson and James Pyle.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Sidney Pyle, Jr. and Wendy Acevedo (Fabian); her grandchildren, Samantha, Elizabeth, Marissa and Cesar Jr.; her niece Vicky Faix; and her nephews, Danny Stimax, Donny Stimax, Johnny Stimax and Melvin Johnson. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Joan's honor.
