He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony Lawrence and Helen Lawrence; and his sister Lydia Jordan. He is survived by: his wife Connie F. Lawrence. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He lived a few doors down from my husband, Orest and brother in law, Andy Hanas when they were in school. They enjoyed playing hockey, as they were all big hockey fans. Alex was in my graduation class in high school. I remember he was an extremely bright student and a nice guy. May he rest in eternal peace. Zirka and Orest Hanas”
