It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amelia Lucia Beran (Baltimore, Maryland), who passed away on June 9, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Amelia departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Amelia. Though Amelia may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edward F. Beran. She is survived by: her children, Edward W. Beran (Debra L. Beran) and Jean M. Burke (Kevin R. Burke); her grandson Branden E. Burke; and her siblings, Julia Bomhoff, Vincent Mazzuca and Robert Mazzuca. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions in Amelia's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
