Avrum Tamres Obituary

We bid farewell to Avrum Tamres of Baltimore, Maryland, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 7, 2025 at the age of 88. Avrum touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wives, Faye Sara Adler Tamres, Natalie Tamres and Rhona Tamres; his stepdaughter Leslie Mitchell; his parents, Roslyn Tamres and Herbert Tamres; and his brother Jacob Tamres (Gina).

He is survived by: his children, Francine Glazer (Stuart), Teresa Green (Alan) and Joseph Tamres (Nami); his stepchildren, Rebecca Greenwell (Douglas), Carole Siegel, Howard Adler (Dena), David Adler and Alec Shroyer (Darcia); his sister Chaya Fleischman (late Pincus); his grandchildren, Rachel Albert (Daniel), Kenneth Tamres (Dina), Frank Van Meter (Alyson), Abrianna, Eli, Sabine, Ian Adler (Eve), Mikayla Siegel (Jordanna), Phaelan Shroyer and Desiree Shroyer; and his great grandchildren, Ellena Tamres, Evan Tamres, Madison Van Meter and Zoey VanMeter.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sol Levinson's Chapel (8900 Reisterstown Rd, Pikesville, MD 21208).
