She was predeceased by: her parents, Major Paul and Marguerite Roosen. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Paul Gormley; and her children, Maureen (Shannon), Matthew (Nancy), Patrick (Carolina), Michael (Kathleen), Megan (Alan), Andrew (Lan), Robert, Timothy (Lisa), Mark (Abby) and Anne (Brett). She is also survived by 30 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and her five brothers and sisters.

Contributions in her memory can be made to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library or to the Baltimore Museum of Art.
