She was predeceased by: her parents, William Brown and Catherine Brown; and her husband Jacob Mattern, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Jacob Mattern, Jr. and Jacqueline Mattern; her grandchildren, Joseph Ligget, Jr. (Sam), Angela Dixon and Robert Dixon; her great grandchildren, Annie, Abby (Sarah), Jacob and Harleigh; and her siblings, Nancy and Jerry (Dorothy).
